At Move With Raquel, movement is about more than reps and results. It’s about feeling strong in your body, calm in your nervous system, and supported in the season of life you’re in.

Our boutique strength-training space is intentionally designed to welcome mothers — with classes that feel empowering, grounding, and genuinely achievable.

We offer a mix of kid-friendly sessions, kid-free training, and dad-welcome classes, so every family can find a rhythm that works for them. Our small-group strength training focuses on building confidence, resilience, and functional strength — without pressure, comparison, or overwhelm.

Founded by Raquel, a mum who understands the realities of parenting, anxiety, and rebuilding strength, Move With Raquel was created to remove the barriers that stop parents from prioritising their health. Here, your children are not a burden, your needs are not an afterthought, and your wellbeing matters.

Raquel's vision was to create a unique fitness experience tailored to the challenges parents face while pursuing health.

Hey, I’m Raquel

Personal trainer, women’s health coach — and a mum, just like you.

With over 9 years of experience coaching group fitness, I noticed a clear gap: there were very few places mums with young kids could actually train.

So I created something different.

Move With Raquel is a space where women can train in a way that feels good — structured, low-impact strength training in a welcoming environment where kids are welcome too.

Because when you feel strong in your body, everything else feels easier.

Where do your sessions take place?

Mamas Who Move sessions are held at a private residence in Wandana Heights, creating a comfortable and welcoming space for mums to focus on movement without the stress of a crowded gym. Exact address details will be provided upon booking. Parking is available on the property, making it easy for you to arrive with little ones in tow—no need to worry about finding a spot or walking long distances.

I’m not fit / I’ve just had a baby – can I still do this?

Absolutely! Mamas Who Move is designed for all fitness levels. Whether you're just starting, getting back into movement, or already active, the workouts fully adapt to your needs. All sessions are low-impact and strength-based, so there will be no jumping and no high-impact moves.

Do you offer Personal Training?

Yes, I do. Personal training is also not limited to mums- anyone can book in! Contact me for pricing and programs.

What if my child gets fussy during the session?

That’s totally normal! The Kids Zone is set up for babies & toddlers to play safely, but if your little one needs extra attention, you can step aside, settle them, and jump back in when you're ready.

What if I miss a session?

Life happens! If you’re on a membership plan (1x or 2x per week), you can make up one missed session per month. If you’re on the Unlimited plan, you’re free to come to any session that works for you.

What ages are allowed in the Kids Zone?

Children of all ages are welcome in the kids zone and gym.
While we prioritise safety, parents are responsible for supervising their children at all times in the gym space.

Will this actually help me get stronger?

Yes! Move With Raquel is not just about “getting back into shape” – it’s about building long-term strength, mobility, and confidence in a way that works for YOU. We focus on functional movement, so you feel stronger not just in workouts but in everyday mum life.

What happens after I sign up?

You’ll receive a welcome email with everything you need to know! If it’s your first free session, just show up, enjoy, and decide afterwards if you want to continue. If you’re joining as a member, we’ll get you set up in the group chat and welcome you into the community!

How do I pay?

All payments are made securely online. You can pay via credit/debit card, direct debit, or a class pass bundle.

Can I bring a friend?

YES! If you know a mum who would love this, invite her to a session! The first class is FREE for everyone. If she ends up signing on as a member, you receive a WEEK FREE!

I can't make the days scheduled, will you run more classes?

I totally understand that the current schedule might not work for everyone! I’m more than happy to adjust days and times to suit the majority. If you have a group of mums who’d love to train together, I can organise private sessions just for your group. As demand grows, I’ll be expanding the schedule to offer sessions six days a week, twice a day! Let me know what works best for you.

Can my husband/partner join?

Yes! We run Mums, Hubs N Bubs sessions on Tuesday and Thursday at 6 pm, plus both sessions on Saturday at 8.30 am and 9.30 am.
